we learned place value and learned expanded notation. We did math game where we used cards to move our counter. The games that we played were
one having fun , two learning adding and subtracting ,three adding and subtracting digits that connect to place value.We learned tens and one for adding and subtracting.We all so learned how to solve problems.

This week we've been really getting into our unit of inquiry. We've been taking a close look at the notion of 'with rights come responsibilities'. We learnt that the United Nations created a set of rights specifically for children and we found out what some of these are.
We sorted through a set of 20+ material and non-material items that we thought we needed (and in some cases wanted) and through a process of elimination cut out a number of them till we were left with 8 that we can't live without. We established that these eight needs are also called rights.
Some of us are trying to find out how many rights the UN have created for children. Do you know how many there are?
